With Lady Luck, you can enjoy a spacious deck, ample storage, and a range of features that make this trawler an excellent choice for fishing trips or charters. Whether you're looking to fish offshore or explore the coastline, Lady Luck has everything you need for a comfortable and successful voyage.

Thanks to its recent commercial survey, Lady Luck is now available for pleasure and charter use. Whether you're an experienced angler or simply looking to relax on the water with family and friends, Lady Luck is the perfect vessel for your needs.

The vessels build quality clearly indicate that the build was ‘one for a mate’ with attention to detail going into every rib and stringer with an overkill of design to ensure a tank like hull. It was in commercial survey from 1996-2011 before undergoing a refit and reconstruction to go back into survey in 2022 as a passenger carrying vessel.

The engine is a Ford Lehman 6cyl, 89kw (120hp), Firing on all 6 that doesn’t miss a beat, it is sitting on 7900hrs which we understand is light on for an engine of its age. It’s partnered with a paragon P400 gearbox which had its reverse band replaced in 2021 due to age and a new top section with forward and reverse gear selector. The engine comes with its original manual and gearbox with spare parts. Both the Engine and gearbox have had their oils regularly flushed and serviced by the same mechanic- both of which are in contact and would be happy to further work on the boat.

The Ford Lehman 6-cylinder engine is a popular diesel engine that was first introduced in the late 1950s by Lehman Power, a company based in New Jersey, USA. The engine was based on the Ford "Dorset" industrial engine and was developed specifically for marine use.

In the 1960s, Lehman Power was acquired by Ford Motor Company and the engine was rebranded as the Ford Lehman 6-cylinder engine. Over the years, the engine underwent several improvements and modifications, including changes to the fuel injection system, cooling system, and other components.

The engine gained a reputation for reliability and durability, and it was widely used in pleasure boats and commercial vessels around the world. Its simple design and rugged construction made it a favourite among boat owners and marine mechanics alike.

The vessel was out of water last in 2022 as an extensive amount of fasteners were put in to tighten the hull up. The result of this was bilges that are extremely dry for a wooden boat and 2 new keel bolts as everything was inspected for survey. The rudder and shaft were also pulled showing no damage. It was no surprise the 3 blade prop was from D.H porters as it is an Australian built boat. Chain markings were also added to the anchor and a new Garmin sonar was put in. Copper sheets are placed around the prop and along the vessels stern.

In regards to its electrical it was fully gutted and everything newly installed. Along with creature comforts such as saloon lights, cockpit lights, engine room lights, phone charger and radio. It was also fitted and tested with navigation lights, VHF, New Fresh Water pump, New macerator, New Salt water wash down/tap fitting and a brand new 9” Garmin touch screen display with charts and fish finder.
