Matt Walford | CEO | Broker
Matt’s career started in 2003. Based in Sydney he was involved in the sale of the Princess, Fairline, Riva, Regal, Chris Craft and Wellcraft brands throughout Australia.
In 2011, Matt joined the world’s largest diversified aluminium shipbuilder Austal Oceanfast (ASX: ASB) as their Business Development Manager based in Perth. In this role Matt worked in new build, refit and sales of vessels up to 130 metres. During his tenure he worked in the US, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australia.
Returning to Sydney in 2015, Matt has established himself as a leading performer in the sale, purchase and charter of luxury boats located in Australia and overseas.
Matt’s current role is as Chief Executive of D’Albora Marine which currently spreads across seven locations in NSW and Victoria. He is in involved in all aspects of the business and is an active broker.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Business (Entrepreneurship) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and a Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from Kaplan. He is currently completing a Diploma in Marine Surveying with Lloyds Maritime Academy in London and holds his STWC95.
Nick Rice | Executive Broker | Sydney
Nick has been selling boats for the past 16 years. Previously based in the Channel Islands and running his own business, his focus has been on new and used luxury power and sail boats between 30 and 100ft. Nick also has extensive experience and knowledge of the European market, offshore purchasing and after sales support.
More recently Nick sold his business in Europe and relocated back to Australia. As an executive broker with d’Albora Marine, Nick’s geographic focus is on our marinas in Sydney and the Hawkesbury | Pittwater waterways.
Peta Offord | Sales and Service Coordinator | PA
Growing up in the Sutherland Shire of Sydney, Peta has been around boats all her life. With a background in real estate, Peta manages all sales and service activities at d’Albora Marine and is responsible the delivery of a high quality service to our customers.
Peta is based our head office at Rushcutters Bay Marina NSW.
John Jackman | Executive Broker | Victoria
John has been involved in boating over the past 30 years. From working the decks of fishing boats to the superyachts of Europe in the 90’s, he has a broad understanding of all types of vessels. Based on the Mornington Peninsula John is now heavily involved with the group’s marina and shipyard businesses in Victoria.
In his capacity as a broker John services the entire Port Phillip Bay and offers his clients a deep understanding of boats in general and their ongoing repair and maintenance requirements. John is a passionate and enthusiastic boater who is always happy to discuss buying, selling, marina berthing or service and support.
